The Best of Costa Rica (4 in 1)
~12 Hours
This unparalled trip will take you to Poas Volcano, Doka Coffee Plantation, La Paz Waterfalls including their butterfly sanctuary, hummingbird gardens and frog house. You will continue on to a short boat ride to see monkeys, sloths and birds. To complete this day, you will pass through the breathtaking Braulio Carillo National Park.
This is a long tour, any of these activities may be done separately, or spread out over a couple of days to make the day more pleasant.

La Selva Biological Research Station (private tour only) ~8-12 Hours
Formerly open only to wildlife researchers, this research station has now developed into a wonderful tourist attraction. The trip will take you past La Paz Waterfalls, and out towards the Sarapiqui River. 3 hours of light hiking ensures you see something spectacular.
To make this even more special, add a Sarapiqui River trip for $30 dollars regardless of the number of travellers.
Sarapiqui River Tour (private tour only) ~5-12 Hours
Travelling along the river you will see more wildlife in a couple of hours than most people will see in an entire trip to Costa Rica. From monkeys to sloths to macaws you will not be disappointed. The boat driver that we recommend can spot an iguana at 1000 feet so even if your eyes aren't up to it, his are.
This is perfect when coupled with La Paz, Poas, La Selva or any combination of those.
San Jose City Tour ~4 Hours
Visit Historic San Jose, one of the safest cities in Central America. This is a nice relaxing way to experience Costa Rica's largest city.
Costa Rican Wildlife Safari (private tour only) ~8 Hours
You leave San Jose - to a river where you will see some of the largest crocodiles in the country. Macaws, parrots, toucans and other birds abound. From there you will continue to a private reserve to come face to face with even more wildlife and pristine forests.
Poas Volcano Tour ~4 Hours
Only an hour from the hotel, Poas is a natural marvel. Poas is an active volcano, with a 1.5km geyser at its peak. Some light hiking trails take you through you cloud forests to another crater lake.
Canopy / Zip-Lining (private tour recommended) ~4 Hours
A huge zip-lining course is only minutes from the front door of our hotel. This unique way to appreciate the natural bounty of our mountain will leave you with memories and pictures of a lifetime.
Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs ~12 Hours
When you see the steaming peak of the volcano, you will think you are witnessing a scene straight out of Jurassic Park. Arenal is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas and this trip will not disappoint. During the day you will stop at different shopping areas and as evening approaches you will watch nature's most spectacular fireworks display.
Irazu Volcano ~5 Hours
One of the highest points in Costa Rica, you will see the Pacific and Atlantic from one point! Continuing on to the towns below, you will see ruins of old churches and the beautiful new basilica at the base of the volcano.
Lankaster Gardens (+Irazu?) ~4-8 Hours
Lankaster Gardens offer you views of native orchids that would otherwise be impossible. They bring hundreds of species down to eye level! This is a wonderful trip when paired with a trip to Irazu.
Isla Tortuga Beach/Snorkeling (group tour only) ~12 Hours
This is a MUST SEE Island off of the Pacific Coast. You will take a tour on a yacht out to Tortuga Island where you can spend the day relaxing on the beach or snorkeling at a coral reef! This is the beach day that you MUST include with your days in the rainforest to get a complete feel of what we our country offers!
Monteverde Reserve ~13 Hours
This is a long trip, but it is well worth the travel. Monteverde is a pristine cloud forest. You will hike through the forest on trails and bridges that give you a "view from the top".
Tortuguero National Park ~13 Hours
This is personally my favorite place in Costa Rica. The lagoons offer you one of the most amazing ways to view wildlife that we can offer here in Costa Rica. This is a long day, but well worth the trip. I would even recommend a 2-day trip and we can pack you meals and arrange your resort stay.
